Ron Searcy- As an agricultural entrepreneur, Ron has always had a strong interest in farming. He has owned and operated a wholesale plant nursery, a greenhouse tomato company and grown produce for local tailgate markets. Ron first ventured into goat farming in 1998 when he purchased three goats to clear some overgrown land at Wells Farm. A decade later, the herd has grown to over 200 goats and transformed into a family business.
Cheryl Searcy- Born and raised on Wells Farm, Cheryl is the third generation of her family to carry on the agricultural interests of Wells Farm. Founded by Arnold and Ott Wells in 1938, Wells Farm began operations as a dairy farm. With the decline of the dairy business, the farm transitioned briefly to beef cattle and finally to goats.
Sara Thompson, daughter- Currently the Admissions Director for a short-term rehabilitation center, Sara handles all marketing, advertising and media communications for Wells Farm.
Sam Searcy, son- An attorney in Raleigh, Sam handles all company legal matters.
